57 People Quarantined For Coronavirus At Camp Ashland

OMAHA, Nebraska - Fifty-seven people will call Camp Ashland home for the next two weeks.

The flight carrying Americans quarantined for coronavirus landed at Eppley Airfield around 6:40 Friday evening.

6 News reports all 57 people were screened by CDC officials before they were allowed to board a bus that took them to the Nebraska National Guard camp.

Peter Cassel with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says they will remain at Camp Ashland for the 14 day quarantine period.
