DODGE COUNTY, Nebraska - A road is closed in Dodge County due to Elkhorn River water over the roadway.
Highway 275 between West Point and Highway 91 closed Friday morning.The high water is due to ice jams in the river.
Officials tell 6 News that ice jams are common this time of year.Ice jams earlier this week prompted a flood advisory along the Elkhorn River near Scribner earlier this week.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is keeping close tabs on the ice jam situation.They are expecting one of the biggest runoff seasons on record for the Missouri River Basin.
