SARPY COUNTY, Nebraska - An arrest is made in a deadly two vehicle accident on Highway 75 under the Highway 34 overpass on December 15, 2019.
Two adults in a pickup were hurt. A one-year-old in a child restraint seat was not injured.
The other vehicle involved was a Chrysler 200. The driver, 27 year old Joshua Martinez of Plattsmouth suffered serious injuries. 19 year old Gabriella Ramirez was the front passenger seat and 20 year old Beau Dasher was in the right rear passenger seat. Both Ramirez and Dasher died at the scene.
On Thursday, Martinez was arrested by the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office Warrants Unit on charges related to the accident. Martinez was booked on two counts of misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide, for driving under suspension, for driving too fast for conditions and for failing to meet tire condition requirements.
