Applications Available For The 2020 Season

OMAHA, Nebraska - The "help wanted" sign is out for the 2020 Omaha Farmers Market and night market season.

Spokesperson Kylie Vonnahme tells KFAB Radio News, "We have two Farmers Markets. We have one on Saturdays from May through mid-October in the Old Market at 11th and Jackson Street. Sunday's is at Aksarben Village. We also have the Night Market at Midtown Crossing at Turner Park and that is the last Friday of the month May through September."

Applications are now available for vendors. An informational meeting is set for Wednesday, February 12th at 7 p.m. at the Westside Community Conference Center at 3534 South 108th Street in Omaha. They will discuss signage, pricing, rules, product categories and more.

Eligible vendors for the Omaha Farmers Market are those who sell locally produced products including vegetables, fruits, herbs, bedding plants, flowers, meats, baked goods, jams and jellies, condiments, organic foods, ethnic foods, crafts and much more within a 150-mile radius of the markets. The Night Market is an Art / Fine Craft Market. Packaged food items will also be considered.
