Indicted NDOT Driver Released From Jail By Judge

SARPY COUNTY, Nebraska - The Nebraska Department of Transportation plow driver who crashed into the Platte River and was arrested earlier this week is released from custody.

This morning, a judge ordered the release of Scott Robertson, saying he's not a danger to the public because he's been cooperative, is employed, and has no other criminal history. Robertson's attorney says he had a diabetic attack and that's why he drove into the river.

A grand jury indictment accuses Robertson of possessing child pornography last July.
