It could be a rough ride to work Friday as a storm system is expected to bring snow to the metro area.
First Alert Meteorologist Clay Ostarly says snow moving will move from southeast Nebraska during the pre-dawn hours of Friday morning and spread into the Omaha Metro between 5-7 a.m.
That will have an impact on the morning commute. Ostarly says the snow could briefly change to sleet and freezing rain in the afternoon. He says 2-4 inches of snow is possible in the metro area with higher amounts off to the north and east.
