Gun Pulled On Lincoln Lyft Driver

LINCOLN, Nebraska - A Lyft driver in Lincoln had a gun pulled on him around 5 a.m. Wednesday. Lincoln Police say the driver picked up a man and a woman who wanted to go to Romantix on S 10th Street. It was closed so the couple asked the driver to take them to Romantix near the airport and pay him cash.

The driver said that wasn't possible and they would have to get out and order another Lyft. The man got out but the woman stayed inside. When the driver asked her to get out, she pulled out a handgun, racked the slide and pointed it at the driver. She also threatened him.

The scared driver got out and took off running. He saw the man and the woman leave the area on foot.

Police are working to identify the passengers involved.
