A Bennington woman is dead after a one vehicle crash in northwest Omaha Thursday night.
Omaha police say 64-year old Dianne Downey was westbound on Fort when her Subaru Outback veered off the road and struck a tree near 144th Street around 8:15 p.m.
She was taken to the hospital where she died. Police say a possible medical condition and a lack of seat belt use are being investigated as contributing factors.
