What started in Colorado last month has now spread into our area with reports this week of mysterious formations of drones in Eastern Nebraska, causing a buzz on social media Tuesday night.
The reports were from the Lincoln area to western Douglas County.
Saunders County Sheriff Kevin Stukenholtz told 6 News one of his deputies saw them north of Ashland Monday night.
Across the Missouri River, there was a report of a sighting near Mineola in Mills County, Iowa.
Dozens of sightings have been reported in the last couple of weeks from northeast Colorado into western and central Nebraska, getting the attention of federal and local authorities.
