Omaha Police have arrested a 27 year old man for a shooting that wounded a four year old girl last week.
Diondray Meridy was booked on assault and weapons charges over the weeked. Investigators believe Meridy fired a shot at a van near 27th and Ellison Avenue last Sunday that struck a four-year-old girl in the leg as she rode in her father's vehicle.
The child suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting.
