Omaha Police Use Pepper Balls To Subdue Crowd At Westroads Mall

Omaha Police swarmed the Westroads Mall on Thursday after several fights inside the mall spilled into the parking lot outside.

Omaha Police told 6 News a large group of unsupervised teenagers became unruly and they had to use pepper balls to subdue the crowd in the parking lot.

A video from a woman inside the mall showed dozens of junior high and high school aged kids running around inside the mall. Several tables and chairs were pushed over and a number of kids were seen fighting.

There is no word yet on if any arrests were made. Police are still looking at video and investigating the incident.
