LINCOLN, Nebraska - Lincoln Police are searching for three men who broke into a home on South Canterbury Thursday around 5 p.m.
Officers were told that someone inside the home screamed they were being robbed and then the phone disconnected.
The 37 year old female victim told police she was home with her 2 young children and saw a blue vehicle parked outside her home. One man got out and knocked on her door but she did not answer. The man returned to the vehicle and a short time later three men got out and put on ski masks.
The woman grabbed her children and hid in a bedroom and called the police. She then heard the garage door open and people inside her home.
Police determined the men broke a window of the garage to get inside. An AR-15 and a 22 caliber rifle were taken from the garage.
Investigators are looking at neighbor's video surveillance for clues.
