Sarpy County authorities say two people were killed in a crash Sunday afternoon on Highway 75 near Highway 34. Investigators ay a car heading northbound crossed the center median and slammed into a pickup truck heading south.
The sheriff's department says 19 year old Gabrielle Ramirez and 20 year old Beau Dasher, both of Plattsmouth, were both in the car and pronounced dead on scene. The driver, 27 year old Joshua Martinez was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Investigators say 20 year old Christopher Peters and 21 year old Bailey Clark were in the pickup and were seriously injured. One year Paisley Peters was in a child restraint seat in the back seat and was not hurt.
Snow was falling at the time of the crash but investigators haven't said if weather was the cause of the crash.
