A 30 year old Omaha man is dead after a shooting late Friday night. A second person was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
Omaha Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation near 18th and Emmet around 10:45 p.m. They found Charles Toles in a vehicle with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second man, 23 year old Kameron Jones was injured by gunfire and taken to the hospital. The investigation of the incident continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402 444-STOP.
Anyone providing tips that lead to an arrest in a homicide investigation is eligible for an enhanced reward of $25,000.
