Thieves Target Omaha Nonprofit Newspaper

OMAHA, Nebraska - When M.A. Yah walked into The Heartland Newspaper office Wednesday morning he was knew immediately that someone had broken into the building.

Yah tells 6 News, “Over here we had three computers right here, this is pretty much like our computer lab, we had a computer here, right here, and one here." Nine computers and monitors were taken along with a recent donation of expensive coins totaling $13,000.

The Heartland Newspaper is a nonprofit and their goal is to help the homeless. Yah is hoping that someone comes forward with information about the theft that basically destroyed their past and future.
