LINCOLN, Nebraska - Police are releasing surveillance photos of the man they say held up the Lincoln Federal Savings Bank Friday morning, pulling a gun, shoving cash into an empty Coors Light beer box, and walking off.
Lincoln Police say the hold-up alarm went off at the bank at 70th and O Streets just before 9:00 Friday morning.
Tellers say the suspect pulled a gun, and the surveillance photos obtained by police do show the suspect with a gun in hand.
The suspect is described as a white man around 35-45 years old, large build, with a beard. He was wearing sunglasses, a red and white baseball cap worn backwards, and a puffy green jacket. He fled on foot and there is no vehicle description.
A nearby school, Lincoln East went into lockout status for a short time while police searched for the suspect.
