Woman Arrested For Two Omaha Bank Robberies

Omaha Police have arrested a woman for robbing a bank in November and trying to rob another one earlier this week.

Police say 23 year old Trennesha Newson was arrested Wednesday and booked for Robbery and Attempted Robbery.

In both hold-ups, Police say she displayed a note demanding money. She got away with money in the November 19th robbery of the U.S. Bank near 132nd and West Maple.

On Tuesday, Police say Newson attempted to rob the Premier Bank at 43rd and Dodge on Tuesday but left empty-handed after the teller refused to give her any money.
