SAUNDERS COUNTY, Nebraska - One person is dead in a multi vehicle accident on an overpass on Highway 77 west of Wahoo Thursday night.
Saunders County authorities were called to the viaduct around 6:20 p.m. There were four vehicles and a semi involved in the crash.
All the vehicles were northbound and on a viaduct when one driver left his vehicle to check on another driver. 6 News reports a northbound semi jack-knifed on a the icy road and hit the viaduct. The man who was on foot was thrown from the overpass. He was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead.
