OMAHA, Nebraska - As part of the Riverfront Revitalization Project, Heartland of America Park will close on Monday, December 2nd at 6 a.m.
The park was set to close in the beginning of 2020 but city officials decided to close it early to provide some additional days for early work construction efforts.
Barriers and signs will close off access to parking lots and sidewalks within Heartland of America Park. Fences will go up and surround the park's perimeter in the days to follow. The park will remain closed until project is completed in 2023.
