Arrest Made In Walmart Bomb Threat

Omaha, Nebraska - An arrest is made in a bomb threat made Tuesday. Police were called to the Walmart store at 72nd and Pacific around 3:30 p.m. after someone had called in a bomb threat to the Subway sandwich shop inside.

The business was evacuated and police found no explosives. The store was reopened a short time later.

Police say that a man had been involved in an argument with staff about 15 minutes prior to the threat. 6 News reports that inside the store was a retired police officer who recognized the suspect as a man who frequently stayed at the Siena Francis House.

That is where police found 53 year old David Gautier. Police say the threat came from Gautier's cell phone. After being interviewed by police, Gautier confessed. He was booked for making terroristic threats and for resisting arrest.
