Update: Motorcyclist Critically Injured In Morning Crash

Update - Omaha Police released more information on this morning's accident that critically injured a motorcyclist.

Police were called to 28th and Harney at 10:11 a.m. Tuesday for a personal injury crash. Investigators say that a Chevy Malibu was northbound on 28th Street when the driver of a Kawasaki motorcycle ran a red light and hit the car.

The motorcyclist is identified as 24 year old Rasheed Wall of Carter Lake. He was rushed to a hospital in critical condition with a possible abdominal injury. Charges against him are pending.

The driver of the Malibu was not hurt.

OMAHA, Nebraska - A motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital in critical condition after an accident at 28th and Harney Street Tuesday morning.

Traffic was closed off to the area during the investigation. What caused the crash is not known. More details will be released at a later time.
