Roadwork Starts Wednesday On 168th Street

SARPY COUNTY, Nebraska - Starting Wednesday, construction crews will be repairing the pavement on a two-lane section of 168th Street from just north of Palisades Drive to just north of Meridian Street. Sarpy County officials report the contractor will start work on the northbound lane and then move to the southbound lane.

The road will remain open in both directions throughout the project but there will be lane closures. Drivers need to pay attention to flaggers or a pilot car that will lead traffic through the area. Drivers will also be able to access 168th Street from Meridian Street however, access may be closed for short periods of time.

Drivers can expect delays and are asked to use an alternate route if possible. The project is expected to take a week but that is pending due to the weather.
