LINCOLN, Nebraska - Lincoln Police identified the man killed in an accident on West O Street Friday night as 32 year old Chance Wineberger of Lincoln. The accident happened just after 11:30 p.m.
Police say that Wineberger was driving an SUV that crossed over a raised median into oncoming traffic and hit a pickup between NW 40th and NW 44th Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two individuals in the pickup, Jesse Hansen and Jacob Hoffman were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Their pickup had rolled several times and ended up in a ditch.
