LINCOLN, Nebraska - A Lincoln attorney is accused of stealing more than $60,000 from a vulnerable adult.
Police say Christine Vanderford was the court-appointed guardian for a 33 year old woman. Investigators served a search warrant at Vanderford's law office and processed financial evidence. The found she had taken $60,000 from the victim's account.
Vanderford turned herself in to police this morning.
