Update: Bench Warrant Issued For Husker Safety Dismuke

Update: Husker Safety Marquel Dismuke was fined $100 plus $50 court costs after pleading guilty to driving with a suspended license last July. A bench warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to show up in court on Wednesday. Dismuke showed up today and took care of the issue.

LINCOLN, Nebraska - Husker Safety Marquel Dismuke has a bench warrant issued.

Court records show that Dismuke was pulled over on July 12th for not having a front license plate on his vehicle. He was also driving on a suspended license.

6 News reports that Dismuke pleaded guilty to those charges and was to be sentenced Wednesday. He did not show up to that court date.

Dismuke is a junior from Compton, California.
