Suspects Tie Up Employees At Sprint Store During Robbery

OMAHA, Nebraska - Omaha Police were called to the Sprint store at 149th and West Maple Road around 12:15 Monday afternoon for a robbery.

Employees told officers that two men forced the employees into a storage room and tied them up. The suspects then took items from the store and took off in a black, Chevy Impala but then changed vehicles to a white Chevy Tahoe. Officers tried to make a traffic stop but the driver refused. The suspects eventually ran from the vehicle near 97th and Binney.

One suspect was caught after a short foot chase and the other was located as officers searched the area.

The investigation is in the early stages.
