A teenager has been arrested after a pickup stolen in Omaha crashed into another vehicle in Council Bluffs early Monday morning.
Omaha Police spotted the black pickup entering Council Bluffs on I-480 at 2:00 a.m. Council Bluffs Police say an officer spotted it near 30th Street and 2nd Avenue, but the vehicle had fled before responding officers arrived in the area.
About ten minutes later police say the pickup crashed into another vehicle at 9th Avenue and Harrah's Blvd. After a brief search by the K-9 team, officers arrested a 17 year old. Police believe there might have been two other people in the stolen pickup truck.
No one in the vehicle that was hit by the pickup sought medical treatment.
