Omaha Teenager Charged As Adult In Tobacco Store Murder

A judge has set bond at $500,000 for 17 year old Jacobi Terry, who is charged as an adult for the murder of a tobacco store employee last week.

Police say 21 year old Bahy Altairi was shot to death at his father’s Tobacco and Vape store near 32nd and L last Wednesday night.

Terry is charged with first-degree murder and the use of a firearm to commit a felony.

Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer says Crime Stoppers was instrumental in solving the case. "I want to thank the community for providing anonymous tips that led our department to arrest and charge the suspect.
