OMAHA, Nebraska - The Nebraska Humane Society is hoping that many of the dogs and cats they are caring for go to new homes this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the meadow.
They are hosting an "Expresso Your Love" adoption event that features coffee for the first 120 people who donate items.
The will have dogs on the meadow on a leash so folks can see them outside their kennels and really see their personalities.They will cats in their camper that visitors can stop by and see and hopefully take home.
The Humane Society will also have training demonstrations and pet owners can get behavior advice.There will be games for kids as well.
All adult dogs adoptions are $45.Kittens will be $50 and two for one.They are waiving all adoption fees on adult cats.

The Humane Society also asks those who are surrendering pets, if possible, to keep them for a few more days until they can free up some space.
