One woman is recovering and another is behind bars after a shooting Monday night near 27th and Leavenworth.
Omaha Police were called to that location around 11:15 p.m. and determined that two people were in a car accident. Two parties exited both vehicles and started arguing. That led to a physical altercation. Police say that is when 29 year old O'Sha Crowley-Cross pulled a gun from her vehicle and shot the other person. Police say both were at the scene when they arrived.
Medics transported the female victim to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Crowley-Cross was booked for felony assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony, destruction of property and possession of marijuana - less than one ounce.
