A new month means new streaming options for Netflix, Hulu, & Amazon Prime. The clear winner this month is Netflix, a bunch of high profile movies debut on the streaming giant in October. Including El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie and Eddie Murphy in the biopic "Dolemite is my Name".

(Does it hold up?) Halloween is fast approaching, so you might want to watch Scream 2 which debuts on the first. Why just the second one? I don't know. But it's a surprisingly good sequel for the horror genre.

Another great option would be to watch Mickey Rourke get robbed of an Oscar (damn you Sean Penn!) in 2008 for The Wrestler. For those celebrating spooky season new titles for Hulu in October include all three Blade movies, the original Saw (as well as a smattering of subpar sequels - not all of them though), and Hellraiser.

The Harrison Ford horror hit, What Lies Beneath is another good option. The Sam Neil/Laurence Fishburne mind (bleep) Event Horizon also hits the service in October. And for those fans of movies "so bad they're good" check out Dreamcatcher from 2003. Often referred to as the worst Stephen King adaption in movie history.
