Lincoln Police Find Nearly $2 Million In Drugs Inside Pickup

The Lancaster County Criminal Interdiction Unit was contacted on Thursday about a Chevrolet Silverado parked at a gas station at NW 48th and West O Street.

A K-9 was deployed around the vehicle where it alerted and indicated the odor of narcotics coming from it.

39 year old Tyler Gooch of Klamath, Oregon was later contacted when he walked out of the store. Gooch was taken into custody.

Inside the pickup was 3,000 THC pre-loaded vape pens, 30 pounds of THC Shatter concentrate, one pound of psilocybin mushrooms and 90 pounds of Marijuana.

Gooch was lodged in the adult detention facility for possession of THC, marijuana and mushrooms with intent to deliver.

The street value of the narcotics is estimated at $1.9 million.

The pre-loaded vape cartridges sold on the black market are consistent with the products that have been causing serious lung illness and death recently in the U.S.
