An Omaha firefighter ended up in the hospital Wednesday night after battling a fire at a business near 148th and Grover.
The fire broke out around 10:00 at Powers Automotive. Investigators say when firefighters arrived they found a van on fire outside the building, but it had actually started inside.
Investigators say debris fell on the head of a firefighter and he was taken to the hospital. His injuries are not serious. Several vehicles were inside the garage and sustained mostly smoke damage. Damage is estimated at more than $200,000 but the cause is not yet known.
