Lincoln Police arrested a 23 year old man Saturday after they say he had a beer in one hand and his cellphone in the other while riding on a car.
Police say an officer spotted a blue Dodge Neon traveling northbound on 9th Street between Y and Charleston near Memorial Stadium as the Huskers were playing South Alabama.
Officer Angela Sands says 23-year-old Charlie Bush III was lying on the hood of the vehicle and was drinking the beer while taking a cell video of the crowds. The officer caught up with the vehicle when it stopped at a traffic light.
Bush was cited for riding on the outside of a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana. Police say the driver, 24-year-old Titus Williams, had a suspended license. He was also cited for having an open container of alcohol. The backseat passenger in the car, 24-year-old Timothy Yankton, was cited for having an open container of alcohol.
Police say all three men were found to have active arrest warrants and were taken into custody.
