There were some tense moments in a north Omaha neighborhood Monday night after the Omaha Police Bomb Squad was called out.
Police say a man cleaning out his garage near 34th and King found a hand grenade wedged near the engine of an abandoned tractor.
The bomb squad moved neighbors to a safe location before removing and detonating the grenade.
"It was a little scary. A little flutter in the stomach there,” neighbor Chris Bertram told 6 News. A second item was also found in the garage but it was determined to not be explosive.
