Omaha Police are investigating after a body was been found in the lagoon at Benson Park Friday morning.
Captain Marcia West says someone with city parks department called 911 around 8:20 a.m. after seeing the body floating in the water. Officers arriving at Benson Park found the body and called the Omaha Fire Department out to help retrieve it.
She says could not confirm if the body was a man or a woman or if foul play was suspected.
