This Marvel Character is OUT of the MCU!

Spider-Man's entry in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe was hailed as a triumph. Sony owned the rights to the character and agreed on a 50/50 profit split with Disney to allow the character to be in Captain America: Civil War, The Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame, as well as two solo films. That appears to be the end of the line for Spidey in the MCU, as negotiations between Sony and Disney broke down.

Sounds to me like Sony might have been using Disney/Marvel to boost Spider-Man's standing in the public, and now plans to reap the benefits. But what they fail to realize is that we won't get tired of Spider-Man movies, we WILL get tired of BAD Spider-Man movies. That was Sony's problem before. We'll see what happens from here.
