We're jumping back in to The Matrix. Why? I'm not really sure, but a fourth Matrix movie was announced today. The good news is that Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss are returning. So is one half of the original directing team.
Look. The original Matrix is a classic, without question. It is not up for debate. The sequels were garbage. They finished the story. The only reason to return to this universe is (besides money) to adapt the story to a world where Reddit & social media exist, and fake news is a constant drain on society. And I'm not sure that's enough of an idea to really get me going.
