A 17 month old boy remains in critical condition after he was pulled from a backyard swimming pool in LaVista Sunday afternoon.
It happened at a home near 104th and Giles around 12:30 p.m. The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office says CPR was being performed on the child by family members when rescue personnel arrived.
Papillion Firefighters took over treatment of the child on scene. The Children’s Hospital Transport Team arrived and took the boy to Children’s Hospital and Medical Center. Investigators say the child and his family were visitors at the home at the time of the incident.
