A Papillion man is in the hospital after his pickup slammed into a midtown building early Wednesday morning.
Omaha Police say it happened at the Kubat Pharmacy administrative offices near 49th and Center streets around 1:20 a.m.
Investigators say 37 year old Kirk Kennally was eastbound on Center Street when the pickup left the road and crashed near the entrance to the office building, causing significant damage.
Kennally was taken to the hospital with facial lacerations that are not considered to be life-threatening. Police say a possible medical condition may have been a factor in the crash, but alcohol was not.
OPPD, MUD and a city building inspector were at the scene to ensure safety and assess the damage.
