The Seward County Sheriff's Office identified the name of the person killed Thursday in an accident on I-80 around noon.
The driver of a pickup hauling a camper is identified as 67 year old Richard Schulmeister of Milan, Illinois. Schulmeister was the only person in the pickup.
The driver of the semi is identified as 44 year old Mark Bynog of Denver. He was taken to a hospital in Lincoln and was treated and released.
Authorities say Schulmeister was following the semi and failed to yield as it slowed.
Traffic was restricted to one lane due to a construction zone.
