A mountain lion may be on the prowl in the metro area.
Anthony Jones lives at 40th and Burdette and tells 6 news that his Ring doorbell alerted him to activity outside his front door on Wednesday. He went to check it out and he saw what he believes was a mountain lion.
Jones believes the big cat walked out from trees on a neighbor's property and then walked into his yard and messed around with a garden hose. Jones says the cat looked directly at him and then walked back into a wooded area.
This is the second reporting of a mountain lion this week in the metro. The first was at 72nd and Cass.
Nebraska Game and Parks is looking at the video captured on Jones' doorbell to determine whether it was a mountain lion or another animal.
