A motorcyclist is dead after a crash Wednesday evening. The Douglas County Sheriff's deputies were called to 11640 Calhoun Road around 10 p.m. for a personal injury accident involving a motorcycle. Deputies found the bike on the east shoulder ditch of Calhoun Road near Ponca Road.
Ponca Fire and Rescue were assisting one man identified as Richard Zadina. Zadina was taken to a hospital where he later died.
An autopsy was requested to determine the cause of death. The accident remains under investigation.
