Omaha Police Say Alcohol Was Factor In Crash That Injured Three People

Three people were injured in a two vehicle crash Monday night near 84th and Bennington Road. Omaha Police say the investigation shows a 2008 Chevrolet Impala was eastbound on Bennington Road just after 9:00 p.m. when it crossed the center line and collided with a westbound 2018 Ford F-150.

The driver and the passenger of the Chevrolet were transported to CHI Bergan Mercy Hospital. Police say the driver, 23 year old Michael Lade suffered non-life threatening injuries to his head and knee. He was cited for DUI, driving left of center and no seat belt. His passenger, 23 year old Tyler Wilbank, suffered serious injuries to his hip.

The pickup driver suffered minor injuries.
