Gun-Ammo-Fireworks Amnesty Day Set For August 17

The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office will hold a Gun, Ammo and Fireworks Amnesty Day on Saturday, August 17th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Officials say you can bring in unwanted or unsafe firearms, ammunition and fireworks to be disposed of. The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office and the Omaha Police Department will dispose of those items safely with no questions asked.

This will be held at the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office South Parking Lot Garage located at 8335 Platteview Road in Papillion.
