Update On Lincoln Light Plane Crash

The FAA continues to investigate a plane crash in east Lincoln Sunday morning. The Ultralight aircraft crashed at Pester Airport around 11:30 a.m. Lincoln Police report that the pilot was 65 year old Douglas Bornemeier. He had to be cut from the wreckage.

Bornemeier showed no signs of injury but did go to a hospital.

Bornemeier stated he had been flying for about 10 minutes and came in "too steep for a landing".
