Flags Fly At Half-Staff To Honor Victims Of Mass Shootings

In accordance with a proclamation from President Trump, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts says all Nebraska and U.S. flags are to be flown at half-staff in honor of the victims of recent mass shootings in Texas and Ohio.

20 people were killed by a gunman at a shopping center in El Paso on Saturday. Less than 24 hours later nine people were shot and killed in a mass shooting at an arts and entertainment in downtown Dayton.

Flags are to be flown at half-staff until sunset on Aug. 8.
