Crash Leads To Arrest Of Suspected Drunk Driver

Omaha Police say a man has been arrested for his third DUI after a crash early Monday morning that injured three people, including an infant.

It happened at Sorensen Parkway and Fort Street around 3:20 a.m. Investigators say a 1998 Honda Accord was stalled in the right westbound lane of Sorensen Parkway when it was rear ended by a westbound 2003 Cadillac Deville.

Three people in the Honda were transported to Nebraska Medicine for treatment. The driver, 66 year old Edward Damper, suffered a head injury and possible chest injury. The injuries are not considered life threatening.

The passenger of the Honda, 44 year old Damina Gladney, suffered a minor injury to her face. An infant also suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the Cadillac, 38 year old Rogers Luellen, suffered a minor head injury. Police say he was booked for felony DUI 3rd offense, DUI serious bodily injury, driving under suspension, following too closely and possession of marijuana less than one ounce.
