Woman Wanted For Shooting Man In Glenwood, Iowa

Mills County authorities say a woman is being sought after they say she shot a man in Glenwood, Iowa Wednesday night.

The Mills County Attorney's office says it happened about 8:30 p.m. near 3rd and North Vine Street. Investigators told 6 News someone in the home called 911 to report a 34 year old man was shot several times and that the victim was able to identify who shot him.

A swat team surrounded the house where they believed the woman barricaded herself. They evacuated neighbors and entered the home, but she was not there.

37-year-old Brandy Clark is on the run and Mills County authorities say she is considered armed and dangerous.

The condition of the man who was wounded is not known. Anyone who knows where Clark is should call 911 or the Glenwood Police Department at 712-527-4844.
