A 26 year old Bellevue man is dead after being shot in Lincoln early Wednesday morning. Wednesday morning.
Police Chief Jeff Bliemeister says officers said they were called to Bryan West Hospital for a report of a man with a gunshot wound just before 4 a.m.
Hospital staff said several people assisted Martae Green into the emergency room but were gone before police arrived.
Green was unresponsive and pronounced dead at 4:37 a.m. Bliemeister says they are working to identify those who brought Green to the hospital.
